Keri,
Check out the online bibliography of multicultural and anti-bias books for children (including preschool-aged) compiled by the A World of Difference Institute: http://www.adl.org/bibliography/bfc_book_categorization.asp.

Hi,
I have a colleague who will be teaching children's literature this fall
to high school juniors and seniors. She is interested in a list that
contains banned books. Does such a list exist?
Are there books that you know in the banned category for high school
students?
Can you forward me this information?
Thanks,
Dr. Rebecca Roisman

Sir/Ma'am,
I am a college student with UNC-Greensboro. I'm working on a list of good
multicultural books for preschoolers. I want to avoid books that generalize
or stereotype. I would appreciate everyone's input on some of their
favorite books that celebrate culture and diversity. Thank you all.
