Join the National Association of Latino Elected and Appointed Officials
(NALEO) for the NALEO 27th Annual Conference in Denver, Colorado on June
24-26, 2010.

The NALEO Annual Conference is a unique source of professional development
specifically tailored for Latino elected and appointed officials. Sessions
at the Conference are designed to enhance the governance skills of
participants and deepen their understanding of critical policy issues. In
turn, they become better policymakers and public servants and are able to
translate their knowledge into strategies for building stronger and
healthier communities. With the opportunity to network with colleagues from
throughout the country and various jurisdictions,NALEO Conference
participants are able to leverage resources for their communities across
different levels of government.

NALEO is the non-partisan leadership organization of the nation's more than
6,000 Latino elected and appointed officials.  This is an exciting time for
our community. With Latinos constituting the second largest population group
in the nation, we are poised to continue shaping the future of our country.
Currently, over 6,000 Latinos are providing dynamic leadership to diverse
communities by serving in elected or appointed office across all levels of
government.

information about our community, enhancing the leadership skills of Latino
elected and appointed officials, and policy information on political
empowerment issues. NALEO members represent all political parties, all
levels of government, and diverse constituencies – from metropolitan cities
to rural
communities.
