Subject: Amazing Fellowship with Budget & Policy Center
>From Aiko Schaefer at WA Budget & Policy Center:
I wanted to let you know about an exciting new opportunity at the Budget &
Policy Center. As part of a national effort to expand the diversity of
voices that speak on state policy debates, we’re collaborating with the
Center on Budget & Policy Priorities in Washington DC to create a new two
year paid fellowship program.
Here’s the link to the fellowship,
http://www.facebook.com/l/bef54;www.cbpp.org/fellowship/
We need your help to spread the word and encourage people to apply, here are
the basics:
• The program identifies highly-qualified candidates from diverse background
who have graduate degrees in public policy, law, social work, economists or
similar fields.
• If we find a great candidate in Washington, they can choose to work with
the Budget & Policy Center for two years to gain skills in analyzing state
budgets and tax policy, as well as bring their perspective to the work of
the organization.
• Fellows will be part of national network of fellows working in states
around the country working closely with one of the premier national think
tanks on low income issues, the Center on Budget & Policy Priorities.
• Fellows earn a base salary of $45,000 to $50,000 per year (regional salary
adjustments will be applied to higher-cost locations). Health benefits are
included.
If you have any questions about the fellowship, contact Remy at (206)
262-0973 x 222 or via email at remyt at budgetandpolicy.org
Thanks! aiko
