* Who: Primary and secondary school teachers from public and/or
private schools, curriculum developers and after school and summer
enrichment educational directors.
* What: Assess the state of multicultural education in your
classroom, adapt your curricula to establish an inclusive classroom
environment and prepare students to participate in a diverse and
fragmented society. Learn how to integrate diversity education,
including religious diversity, into your class and standard curricula.

* Credit: New York City public school teachers are eligible for 3
"P" credits, and New York State educators can earn professional
development credits. Private school and non-New York State educators are
encouraged to attend and receive a certificate of completion.
* Course Fee: Thanks to the generosity of several donors, this
term, Cultivating Global Citizenship is available at reduced fees.
* Originally $450, tuition is reduced to $150 for a
limited number of New York City public school teachers.
* $250 tuition for other state and private educators
(including non-New York State educators).
* These subsidies are only guaranteed for courses offered
in 2009.
