My name is Lily and I am a graduate student doing my Ph.D. research in
history about mixed race people, (half Japanese and half American) born from
the 1940s-1960s. I would like to see if anyone half-Japanese would be
interested in talking with me and sharing your life experience about being
mixed. If you know anyone in this age group, I would be grateful if you can
pass along this message. I am trying to collect information through oral
history to fill in the gaps in the history books about multiracial people
born after World War II. There's not much written, and I hope to change
that.
