EDUCATIONAL ADVISOR
Sarasota, Florida
Next Generation Venture Fund (NGVF), a joint venture of the Duke
University Talent Identification Program (Duke TIP) and four other
programs, is seeking an education professional with experience in advising
or working with middle and high school students and who is familiar with
the needs of highly gifted youth. NGVF is a program that guides students
from middle school through high school and ultimately to selective
colleges and universities.
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in psychology, education
or related field. Master’s degree preferred. An appropriate combination of
work experience in advising or working with middle and high school
students is desirable. Experience in academic, college or higher education
advising is preferred. Fluency in Spanish is highly desirable, as is
proficiency in MS office computer applications, to include email,
spreadsheets and databases. Travel and some evening work are required.
