International Journal of Multicultural Education, a peer-reviewed open-access online journal for scholars, practitioners, and students of multicultural education, has published its new issue at http://www.ijme-journal.org/index.php/ijme/issue/current.
The new issue (Vol. 10, No.2) contains theme articles focusing on indigenous education.
We invite you to review the Table of Contents here and then visit our web site to review articles and items of interest. Call for Papers for 2009 Special Theme Issue: Leadership for Educational Justice
Leadership from political and educational institutions are critical in realizing educational justice and equity for all students from various racial/ethnic, gender, class, language, religious, sexual, regional, and ability backgrounds. We seek research reports, literature-based articles, practitioner articles, and book reviews that present critiques, evidence, and/or ideas promoting successful organizational and individual leadership for educational justice and equity for all. The priority deadline for submission is April 1, 2009. The issue will be published in December 2009. Please contact ijme at eastern.edu for inquiries.

Call for Peer Reviewers!
The International Journal of Multicultural Education (IJME) is a peer-reviewed
open-access e-journal for scholars, practitioners, and students of
multicultural education. Committed to promoting educational equity,
cross-cultural understanding, and global awareness in all levels of education.
IJME, the successor of EMME (Electronic Magazine of Multicultural Education),
publishes two issues a year. Spring issues, appearing at the end of June, are
typically on open themes of multicultural education. Fall issues on special
themes come out at the end of December.
If interested in contributing as a peer reviewer, please register on line at www.ijme-journal.org. The journal editor may also be contacted at ijme at eastern.edu.
