“Community Conversations” – Northeast Tour Aug. 28-Sept 2, 2009

White House Initiative on Educational Excellence for Hispanic Americans

The White House Initiative quickly returns to the road for its next
round of “Community Conversations.” Led by its director, Juan
Sepulveda, the upcoming series of sessions will take place throughout
the Northeast starting this Friday, August 28 in Boston. Most recent
conversations took place at 12 sites throughout California in addition
to those earlier this summer in south Texas, Chicago, and Kansas City,
Missouri. More sessions are planned for the southwest, southeast and
northwest.

The sessions are open to all stakeholders, including students, parents
and teachers.
