Registration is now open for the 25th Anniversary CES Fall Forum in New Orleans!

The Coalition of Essential Schools invites you to New Orleans to celebrate our 25th anniversary with powerful exchanges of innovative practices and democratic policies that increase equitable student achievement. Get the tools, knowledge, contacts, and vision to create and sustain personalized, equitable, academically challenging schools that prepare all students for successful lives. 

CES' most important networking and professional development event, Fall Forum empowers you to create and sustain change in your schools and communities. Featured speakers include Gloria Ladson-Billings, Grant Wiggins, Wokie Weah, Deborah Meier, Chris "Kazi" Rolle, Linda Nathan, The Forum for Education and Democracy, Tim Wise and more! 

In addition to the outstanding featured speakers, Fall Forum also features nearly 200 practitioner-led workshops in the strands of Equitable Classroom Practice, Equitable Organizational Practices and Policy, The Transformation Process, Service-Learning, Family and Community Engagement, Policy and Advocacy, and Youth Leadership.

 

Fall Forum in New Orleans also offers participants the opportunity to take part in pre-conference service-learning experiences and school visits, each designed to support the ongoing post-Katrina recovery efforts and reinvention of public education in New Orleans. Additionally, day-long pre-conference workshops on a variety of topics are also available.
