GREATER CRENSHAW EDUCATIONAL PARTNERSHIP (GCEP)
EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
GCEP is a nonprofit corporation created to provide an innovative,
student-centered structure for advancing the academic achievement and
social/emotional development of students at Crenshaw High School and its
family of middle and elementary schools in South Los Angeles.
The Executive Director of GCEP works with the Board of Directors and the
entire GCEP organization to set strategic direction and implement innovative
measures to transform education in the culturally-diverse, urban GCEP
community. GCEP seeks an Executive Director who is a visionary and high
performance leader, who has demonstrated success in collaborating with a
wide range of stakeholders to improve educational outcomes. High-level
managerial, supervisory, program management, community relations, advocacy,
financial management and fundraising skills required. Masters degree
required. Doctorate degree preferred.
Executive Director will report to the GCEP Board of Directors. Five (5) year
appointment subject to annual review and evaluation.
Contract begins July 1, 2009. Salary competitive and commensurate with
