(NAME-MCE) collection of controversial movies for teaching

Dear Listmembers,

 

I noticed over the last few postings that there are several of you who
use Crash or other controversial movies in your classes, which strikes
me as something very useful and provocative. Has anyone considered
putting together a book/anthology that would employ movies such as Crash
as teaching tools, together with assignments and reading/discussion
topics? I would be very interested to see such a project. Such a volume
could be applied in literature, media, communication, sociology,
political science, women's studies, education, and other departments.
