Hispanic scholarship fund applications now online

Scholarship applications will be available online today for the Hispanic
Scholarship Fund. Students can apply for funds for the 2009-10 academic year
at https://apply.hsf.net/applications/ until 8:59 p.m. on Feb. 18.

To be eligible for the program, applicants must be Hispanic and plan to
enroll full time in a degree-seeking program at an American accredited
institution of higher learning in the United States, Puerto Rico, the U.S.
Virgin Islands or Guam.

A minimum GPA of 3.0 and legal residency in the United States are required.
The average scholarship award amount is $2,500.
