Hi Educator,

I was forwarded your contact information from the CAP office at CalArts, to let you know about the free art classes being held at Self-Help Graphics on Tuesdays from 4 pm - 7 pm for high school students. We have been teaching this class for about ten years and many of our graduates have gone on to attend CalArts and other art colleges. Unfortunately our regular instructor has had a medical emergency and was unable to recruit in his usual fashion and thus this email. This past Tuesday was our first class and no one showed up. We are extending our invitation to your students or who ever else you would like to refer. I am a working artist and graduate of CalArts MFA program and veteran staff member of Self-Help Graphics and am looking forward to sharing my skills with the students. Myself and two other instructors from CalArts will be teaching drawing, painting, digital arts including editing, photoshop and design. See the attached flyer for details.
