HI Phyllis: Thanks for responding. I am reassurred by your comment but I am
confused since the website at http://www.ml4t.org/ reads:

*Management Leadership for Tomorrow (MLT)* is a national non-profit that has
made ground-breaking progress developing the next generation of African
American, Hispanic and Native American leaders in major corporations,
non-profit organizations and entrepreneurial ventures.

The vision statement reads in part ---- "A world where all motivated
minorities have the opportunity to realize their full career potential."

I understand how easy it is to miss a category when you start listing them
so if this just an editorial oversight (none of us are pefect, especially me
-- just ask my wife ) I certainly understand.

Some APA stats:

Some, not all, Asian Americans do very well in school academically.
However, other research indicates that:

   - Asian American students experience significantly more depression,
anxiety, and isolation and have lower self-esteem and self-concept when
   compared to European Americans.
   - Asian American students are more isolated, segregated, and socially
excluded than European Americans, Hispanics, or African Americans.
   - Asian Americans experience significant racism and discrimination.

   - Asian Americans are more likely to internalize their difficulties
compared to European Americans; and therefore they tend to underutilize
   mental health and support services.

   - Asian American students are more likely to drop out of school than
   white students. (19% v 15%)
   - Five Asian Pacific American groups have the lowest college completion
rates of any racial or ethnic group. (i.e. Hmong, Tongans , Cambodians,
   Laotians, Guamanians )

(These stats are from Dr Karen L. Suyemoto of Umass Boston).

Angela Rola (from Uconn) the nationally-recognized speaker on APA issues
will be a keynote at the NAME Conference in New Orleans and will be
addressing the model minority myth..
