Hello, friends.

Thanks to many of you, I was able to collect roughly 22 syllabi of
multicultural education related courses from around the U.S. (and to get
some leads on syllabi outside the U.S. as well!). But my goal is 100 U.S.
syllabi. So please, if you're willing to share a syllabus for a course
related to multicultural education (and no names will be shared in my
study), please send it to me directly at gorski at edchange.org.

(Also, I'm afraid some of you might have tried to send me your syllabi by
hitting "reply" to my previous message, in which case your message might
have been blocked so that your syllabus wasn't distributed to the entire
email list. So if you might have done that, you might want to send me your
syllabus again.)

Please, please, please forward this to anybody you know who might be willing
to share a syllabus.

As I mentioned in my last email on this topic, in order to be eligible for
the study, the syllabi must align with these criteria:

1. I will only include syllabi from classes specifically on multicultural
education, diversity education, intercultural education, social justice
education, and related topics. So a more general syllabus (such as a social
foundations of education class) that includes a section on these topics is
not eligible.

2. I will only include syllabi from classes that are part of education
programs (either graduate or undergraduate), so that syllabi from courses
taught in communications programs or social work programs (for example) are
not eligible.

3. I will only include syllabi provided to me from the person or persons
teaching the class, so that syllabi sent to me by a colleague or student of
an instructor is not eligible.

I strip the name of the instructor off syllabi as soon as I get them, so no
individual instructors will be named in my study.

Thank you for any help you can provide.

Best,

Paul
