Celebrate Service-learning and accept the National Learn & Serve
Challenge on October 6-12, 2008

The National Learn & Serve Challenge is the time to shine a spotlight on
service-learning. During the week of October 6-12 individuals and
programs all across the country will raise awareness of
service-learning. Activities might include contacting the media,
holding an event that demonstrates or celebrates service-learning, or
issuing a proclamation in support of Learn and Serve America.

Through service-learning, young people can BE A SOLUTION to real world
challenges that face our community, nation and the world.

You can BE A SOLUTION too!

Help us spread the word about the positive impact service-learning has
on young people and the community. Visit the National Learn & Serve
Challenge www.learnandservechallenge.org to learn more about what you
can do during the National Learn & Serve Challenge, and then tell us
here: www.learnandservechallenge.org/acceptthechallenge.php what you or
your organization will do during the Challenge!

The Learn & Serve Challenge is a signature event of the National
Service-Learning Partnership, made possible with support from State
Farm(r) Companies Foundation. Lead Organizing Partners include: SEANet -
the State Education Agency K-12 Service-Learning Network, Camp Fire USA,
Campus Compact, the National Service-Learning Clearinghouse, Youth
Service America, and America's Promise in collaboration with Learn and
Serve America and the Corporation for National and Community Service.
