(NAME-MCE) "Exotic" citations

Hello, all,
Can you please direct me to some publications (books or easily accessible articles) that address the use of the term "Exotic"? The term was recently used to descibe a Holocaust survivor during his memorial service. The citations certainly don't have to pertain to Jews, though.
