Dear Robin,
Thanks for sharing your perspective on upholding a bias for a group while trying to challenge other assertions. I read a thought-provoking quote in an article by Day-Vines (2000) who states "if one group of individuals is victimized by racism, then, by default, another group profits from these preferential arrangements." 
I enjoyed your quote at the bottom of your message as well and was hoping to be able to use the quote in a paper that I am writing for a doctoral course through Nova Southeastern.
