During February we commemorate African-American Heritage Month and recall numerous world events:  Explosion of the shuttle Columbia, Parliament's abolishment of the slave-trade law, opening of King Tut's tomb and FDR's Executive Order 9066 (resulting in Japanese-American internment camps).
