Dear Friends:
Many years ago a man who was at the forefront of the Chicano Civil Rights Movement was unjustly incarcerated. The voice of Ramsey Muniz was strong, his love was genuine, and the impact that he made in Texas politics was profound. He is my husband and every day of my life I thank God for the privilege of having him in my life. I maintain these sentiments in spite of the fact that he remains incarcerated for crimes that he did not commit. He is incarcerated for life without parole.

This is a humanitarian issue that merits everyone's assistance.
We are grateful to National LULAC, Texas LULAC, the American GI Forum, the Congressional Hispanic Caucus, and senators and congressmen who have provided assistance.
