OCA Internship Program
http://www.ocanational.org/
This is a great opportunity to learn firsthand about national issues
and policies that affect Asian Pacific Americans. The OCA Internship
Program also exposes interns to other aspects of Washington, D.C. Last
year, interns visited Congressional offices where they had an
opportunity to meet with Congressional Representatives, APA staffers,
and members of the Congressional APA Caucus. Interns will also have a
lot of hands on experience at the offices in which they are placed.
The OCA internship Program is a great way for student leaders to learn
about OCA and Washington, DC!
The main placements are:
The OCA National Office (Summer, Fall, Winter & Spring)
Capitol Hill (Summer only)
Federal Agencies (Summer only)
*UCDC students -- please contact Douglas Lee, Program Manager, at the
OCA National Office regarding the OCA Internship Program. Application
deadlines can be flexible based on students' availability.
If you are a student in the Los Angeles area we have
Volunteer/Internship opportunities located downtown. Please contact
the OCA-Greater Los Angeles Chapter at (213) 250-9888 for further
details.
All Washington, D.C. interns also participate in weekly Brown Bag
lunches and CAPAL programs, as well as have the opportunity to meet
various prominent figures.
If you have any questions about the OCA Internship Program, please
contact Doug Lee at dlee at ocanational.orgor call the OCA National
