 So Queen Latifah comes out as a lesbian in Ebony magazine and the fur hits
the fan.  It doesn't matter that she's talented, beautiful, intelligent ...
it doesn't matter that she has her own clothing line ... a contract with
Covergirl to promote their products.  Her contribution, achievements and
accomplishments as a member of the African American community are swept
aside by the ramblings of one Oregon blogger whose religious ramblings of
one member in the Oregon community.  A blog that is then circulated in the
local Eugene area.

Is there any question why local LGBT community members of color don't come
out.  It's a loosing situation.  There is nothing but heartache, pain, and
division to be gained from being honest and open about their lives.

I will continue to work to oppose racism in my community.  I will continue
to work to empower and support members of the communities of color.  I wait
for the time when that energy is reciprocated.

*When did being gay become cool in the music industry? *

I just read that Grammy Award Winner, Oscar Nominee and Emmy Nominee Queen
Latifa is finally coming out of the closet and marrying her long time
girlfriend of 4 years???!!!   Come on people, you and I both know there is
something wrong with this picture.  Are we to refer to her now as King
Latifa?   Does not women like men anymore and vice versa?  When did being
gay become so cool in the music industry amongst our people?  As far as I
can remember, it's always been cool to be gay amongst Caucasians in the
music scene. But now our people have picked up being gay like a virus.   God
made Adam and Eve, not Eve and Jeanette or Adam and Steve.



Come on people, even the animals know better to try to get with the same
sex.  But we humans are supposed to be the more intelligent being.   And for
those of you who are simple enough to believe that this is the new
millennium and that people have a choice to be who they want to be and to
sleep who they want to sleep with you are mistaken.   God never authorized
you or gave you the right to do want you want to do.  God gave man the gift
of life and the commandment in Genesis the first chapter was to be fruitful
and multiply (see Genesis 1:27, 28 – vs. 27 So God created man in his own
image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.
vs. 28 And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and
multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the
fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing
that moveth upon the earth..   The only multiplying a same sex couple can do
is multiply in their wickedness.  The Bible also backs up my thoughts and
opinions.   Please read the following verses, Leviticus 18:22 – Thou shalt
not lie with mankind, as with womankind: it is abomination. Leviticus 20:13
– If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them
have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death; their
blood shall be upon them.   So, if you are expecting me to wish Latifa and
Jeanette good luck in their marriage you are sadly mistaken.  I wish that
both of them repent and find themselves some good men.   I guess we
should've known something was up with Latifa when we saw the movie "Set it
off" huh?  Latifa played her role way too well.



Wait a minute; I have one more scripture for all the wannabe lesbians out
there who think that God approves of their lascivious actions: Romans 1:26 –
32 – vs. 26 For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even
their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature:
vs. 27 And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman,
burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is
unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which
was meet. vs. 28 And even as they did not like to retain God in their
knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which
are not convenient; vs. 29 Being filled with all unrighteousness,
fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder,
debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers, vs. 30 Backbiters, haters of God,
despiteful , proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to
parents, vs. 31 Without understanding, covenantbreakers, without natural
affection, implacable, unmerciful: vs. 32 Who knowing the judgment of God,
that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the
same, but have pleasure in them that do them.



And for all you down-low brothers, and bi-sexual sisters and homo thugs
please don't hide your wickedness.   Be straight up if you are a weird
pervert.  Don't lead someone on for years and then all of a sudden you
spring out of the closet and tell your spouse that you are gay.   You've
always been gay, stop pretending.  And all you celebrities stop living these
alternative lifestyles.  You are confusing the millions of young fans that
look up to you.  The reason why you keep your wicked lifestyles hidden in
the closet is because you know deep down inside your spirit that what you
are doing is WRONG.   And please cancel the television shows "Queer As Folk"
and "The L Word."  Why do I even own a television?
