Hi, Donna -
I was trained as a trainer years ago by both NCBI and Peace Development
Fund's "Dismantling Racism" project, which has migrated to
http://www.dismantlingracism.org/. My experience with these two approaches
was that NCBI focused more on prejudice, while Dismantling Racism focused
more on oppression. I also hear that The People's Institute's program is
very good (http://www.pisab.org/). Have you used Nancy Schwiedewind & Ellen
Davidson's book, Open Minds to Equality? That offers good activities and
resources, as do Teaching Tolerance (teachingtolerance.org), Teaching for
Change (teachingforchange.org), EdChange (edchange.org), and films such as
Lee Mun Wah's Color of Fear or Mara Sapon-Shevin's "...and nobody said
anything:" Uncomfortable Conversations about Diversity.
Good luck, and share with us what you find!
