Three people come to mind - Robert Jensen, Prof. Of Journalism at the
University of Texas at Austin, Van Jones, Founder of the Ella Baker Center
in Oakland, and Cherie Brown, founder of the National Coalition Building
Institute in DC.

Good luck!

Subject: CUSP Leadership Institute Keynote

The professional group I belong to, Council of Union and Student
Programs (CUSP) is holding a Leadership Institute and i'm looking
around for suggestions for a great keynote ! If you have any
connections or leads to someone you think would be great please let me
know. In addition if you could send this to the MSSDC that would be
awesome too. Thanks in advance.

The conference is scheduled for September 3-5, 2008 in Wenatchee,
Washington. The schedule is still being solidified, but the keynote
address is 1 hour on Sept. 3rd from 6-7 p.m. The keynote speaker
compensation is no max $1000, meals at the conference, 2 nights
lodging & round trip mileage.

We are looking for a keynote presenter who would be able to talk about
leadership in a multicultural setting, focusing on Equity and social
justice.
