(NAME-MCE) Effective Practices for Engaging At-Risk Youth in Service Released Just in Time for G

What do we mean by at-risk students?  Toward the end of the blurb about this book, there seems to some assertion that at-risk and "youth with diverse experiences and backgrounds" are the same.  Are we headed into a deficit perspective with this type of language?
