CALL FOR PRESENTERS

The Oregon Association of Latino Administrators is pleased to issue a
call for presenters for the 2008 OALA Winter Conference to be held on
February 9, 2008 in Monmouth, Oregon.  If you are interested in making
a presentation, please complete the attached form and send it to:

All proposals must be received no later than December 21, 2007.
Presenters will be notified of selection by December 28, 2007.

About the Conference:

This annual event provides a venue for Latino and non-Latino
educators, business and community leaders to learn about ongoing and
emerging educational issues impacting the Latino community.

This conference will support the efforts of numerous educators by
providing valuable information on a range of innovative strategies for
the fastest growing ethnic U.S. segment—Latinos. The focus of this
year's conference is The leadership Imperative – Educating our Latino
Children with Equity and Excellence. Conference strands will include:
programs and practices that promote equity and opportunity,
Instructional pedagogy and family and community.

Important Information:

Registration: Presenters will be provided complementary conference registration.
Presentation Time: All Presentation will be 60 minutes in duration.
Handouts: Presenters are responsible for materials and copies of handouts.
Audio/Visual: Please note on proposal any audio/visual needs.
