Museums  and Community Collaborations Abroad (MCCA) is a new American 
Association  of Museums grant program designed to strengthen international 
connections  through innovative, museum-based exchanges. This program aims to expose  
U.S. communities to cultures they might not otherwise have the opportunity  to 
learn about and to share information about American culture with people  
abroad. MCCA seeks to extend the philosophy of "Museums and Community"  beyond U.S. 
borders by inviting museums abroad to partner with U.S. peer  institutions to 
create new models for community-focused international  partnerships. The RFP 
will be posted on the American Association of  Museums website on May 21, 2007, 
and Statements of Intent to Propose will  be due June 15, 2007. Visit the

This  program seeks to increase the multicultural diversity of the food and  
agricultural scientific and professional workforce, and advance the  
educational achievement of all Americans by providing competitive grants  to eligible
