Subject: 18th Annual Cultural Diversity Conference - May 24

As you may be aware, the 18th Annual YWCA Cultural Diversity
Conference "Be a Piece in the Mosaic of Change" will be held on May 24
on Willamette University campus in Salem.

This year, featured speakers include:

-- Chief Justice Paul de Muniz
-- Poet Laureate Lawson Inada
-- Theater Group: Act for Action -- "An Audacious Faith, Oregon's
Legacy of Civic Participation"

The conference is scheduled from 8:30 am to 5 pm. Registration will
begin at 7:30 am. Continental breakfast and lunch included with
registration.

The conference is sponsored in part by the Oregon Commission on
Children and Families, Marion County Children and Families Commission,
Wichovia, Portland General Electric, Willamette University, and
others.
