The Educational Policy Institute and the University of Maryland
College Park invite educators and policymakers to a National Capitol
Summit on Latino Students and Educational Opportunity on June 13-14,
2007 in Washington, DC. The event will focus on Latino students'
academic preparation, postsecondary access, and postsecondary success.
Each session will involve two separate plenary panels of experts,
including special appearances and speeches by members of the United
States Senate and House of Representatives. A special reception will
be held on the evening of June 13 immediately following the first
session of the Summit.
