Do you really feel No Child Left Behind has increased the accountability
of teachers, principals, and schools?
No one's culture should be tampered with; that is who they are. Who
could decide which culture is the one that should be "the one" taught
and used?

No Child Left Behind has increased the accountability of teachers,
principals, and schools in regard to a students academic progress or
lack there of.
Learning, first of all, begins in the home. Parents and guardians are a
child's
first teacher. But with all this accountability, the word parent is left
out
of the formula. Without consistency and a strong relationship between
the
home and school little progress can be made or stay permanent.
Should schools now be responsible in perserving a student's culture?

their native language)
