obviously, multicultural education is a valuable part of the curriculum.  However, are we letting the students down by focusing so much on "minority cultures" and moving away from the "white man's culture?"  i have noticed in my school and in other schools, there are more and more teachers are completely moving away from the "old way" of teaching and solely focusing on "other cultures."  How does one find a safe and non-offensive balance for all students, regardless of race or background?
