I work part time at the Office of Multicultural Initiatives at Seattle
Central Community College.

I am writing to invite you to submit a proposal to present on a topic
that calls your heart at the 17th annual Washington State Students of
Color Conference that will take place April 12-14, 2007 in Yakima, WA
this year.

For those of you not already familiar, the Washington State Students
of Color Conference is primarily for students of color and
international students but is also open to students who are of solely
European descent. Participants find this to be a very valuable,
sometimes life-changing experience.

Please feel free to forward this to anyone you might think interested.
Attached is a welcome letter and call for proposals for more info.
This year's theme is: "Diversity in Action: Openin' Minds, Makin'
Changes!"

The deadline for proposals is fast-approaching - January 24, 2007.
