(Name-mce) ListServ Films for parents

Diane,

An interesting film is White Man's Burden. It was made for HBO. Not a
super-great, high-budget film, but pretty good. It starts Harry Belafonte
and John Travolta. The premise is that racial stereotypes and roles are
switched, so the "world" of the film is one in which African American
people have the power, money, prestige, and so on, and white people are
oppressed and repressed.

Pretty cool. I've used it in classes and it has worked well.
