Hello, all.
 
Thanks to the 50+ of you who responded to my influential book poll. (I
received a total of about 100 responses from a few different listservs.) You
can see the the results of the poll here:

I created this "bookshelf" at Powells, an awesome independent bookstore. The
first 24 books in the bookshelf are in order--these are the 24 books that
received more than one vote in the poll. That is, the first book received
the most votes in the poll, and so on, through the 24th book. The rest of
the books are a smattering from the list mixed with some of my favorite
books. 
 
Bookmark the page. It's a cool tool. And send it around!
