The Washington State School Directors' Association is pleased to join
with the school board associations of Idaho, Nevada and Oregon in
presenting the 2007 Northwest Conference on Celebrating Educational
Opportunities for Diverse Students. This conference will present
innovative programs and strategies that have proven successful in
strengthening academic achievement across a variety of diverse student
groups.

Share Your Success!

Do you have a successful program for diverse student populations that
you would like to share with educational leaders in the Northwest?  If
so, we'd like to hear from you.  The school boards associations of
Washington, Idaho, Nevada and Oregon are seeking model programs to be
highlighted at the upcoming Northwest Conference on Celebrating
Educational Opportunities for Diverse Students, which will take place
April 27-29, 2007 at the SeaTac Marriott Hotel in Seattle, Washington.

and retun the complete form to the school board association in your
state by January 26, 2007.

Who Should Attend

School board members, superintendents, and district-level staff
responsible for the education of English Language Learners, migrant
students, Hispanic and Latino students, African American students,
Native American students and other diverse student populations.
