We invite you to attend the 13th Annual NWFASA Conference in
Bellingham, Washington. This year's theme is "BUHAY: Land is Life,
Life is Struggle, We Struggle as One."  We hope to encompass the whole
objective that the conference is trying to achieve—to empower the
minds of Filipino American students by providing them a wide array of
workshops and a guest speaker that will educate them about their
history, identity, culture, and the important issues that are facing
their community. Through collective empowerment we are enabling
ourselves to have a stronger voice in our society.

Founded 13 years ago in Washington, NWFASA or "the Alliance," has
grown to 13 student organizations from different campuses in the state
of Washington and Oregon. The conference continues to be annual,
attended by more than 350 students, and has been held throughout
Oregon and Washington.

Member organizations include:  Washington State University (WSU),
University of Washington (UW), Seattle University (SU), Everett
Community College (EvCC), Western
Washington University (WWU), AnakBayan Seattle and UW, Oregon State
University (OSU), Portland State University (PSU), Portland Community
College (PCC), Seattle Central Community College (SCCC), NaFFAA Youth
Seattle, and the Beloved Brotherhood of Omega Phi Omega (Kuyas)
