Deadline: April 12, 2007
Associated Grant Makers ( http://www.agmconnect.org/ ), a
regional association of grantmakers in Massachusetts and
New Hampshire, has announced the AGM Diversity Fellowship
Program.
The Diversity Fellowship Program aims to inspire the next
generation of philanthropic leaders among people of color

passionate, emerging professionals. The program is designed
to increase the number and proportion of people of color as
staff and executives in the field of philanthropy.
The program is a full-time, nine-month program (mid-September
through mid-June) for diverse professionals who aspire to a
career in philanthropy. The program is based in Boston; how-
ever, fellows could be placed in host foundations throughout
Massachusetts or New Hampshire.
The program is open to individuals of color who would like to
explore a career in philanthropy; who have extensive knowledge
of nonprofit services, neighborhood development, or community
building; and who have experience, academic preparation, and
prior work that includes either a bachelor's degree with five
years of experience, or a master's degree with three years of
experience.
Fellows will be employed through AGM and receive a stipend of
$30,000.
