My friends have already written to their senators in CA, IL, MN, and WISC.
they've sent me a copy of a template they've created, one for Hmong and
another for non Hmong.

You care because you read this!

Dear Senator _______,

It has been brought to my attention that many Hmong veterans whom helped
fight the communists during the Vietnam War are being denied Green Cards
today because of the Patriot Act.

As a Hmong voter within the state of _________, I ask that you provide
assistance to help my fellow Hmong achieve their goal of one day becoming
an
American citizen. Many Hmong fought and died, to save American lives and to
uphold ideals for which the United States of America stands for, Freedom,
Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness. Now the very ideals that they fought
for are being denied to them.

As my Senator I know that you will be able to help my Hmong friends and
family by inquiring if a waiver can be obtain for the Hmong veterans
within
the Department of U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services.

Thank You and Sincerely,
