The Eighteenth Education Trust National Conference Call for Proposals
is now open!

We're now accepting presentation proposals for our national
conference, November 8-10, 2007 in Washington, DC. Themed "Courageous
Choices: Tackling the Tough Issues to Raise Student Achievement and
Close Gaps," this year's conference is focused squarely on exploring
what it takes---the innovative practices, the hard-won policies and
the dogged courage---to do the really hard work of eliminating the
gaps that separate our children by race and by income, by classroom
and by school, by community and by state.  Share what you've learned,
in your own hard work, about what it has-- and will-- take to ensure
that all of our nation's young people are equipped with the tools, the
skills and the knowledge to thrive.

The deadline for proposals is:  April 16, 2007
