EIAA is a professional development opportunity that provides educators with
the tools and knowledge to create a supportive learning environment for
Asian American students.
The Institute prepares educators to more effectively interact with Asian
American students in the classroom and to incorporate Asian America into
U.S. History, World History, Language Arts, and Literature curricula.
EIAA is for ALL educators and administrators in both public and private
schools who are concerned about the educational and personal development of
Asian American students and all youth. Language Arts/English and Social
Studies/History teachers and guidance counselors are particularly encouraged
to register.
