4th Annual Leadership and Women of Color Conference

This year's conference has been developed around the theme of
"Building Bridges: Issues, Practices and Solutions." A diverse group
of women and men will gather to build upon the knowledge, truths and
revelations of last year's conference, "Building Bridges Among Us and
With Others," which attracted hundreds of leaders to a substantive
discussion of the issues related to inclusion, leadership and
progress. We define bridge building as closing the gap between
cultures and experiences by removing obstacles and reaching mutual
understanding.

"Building Bridges: Issues, Practices and Solutions," will provide
leaders a substantive opportunity to:

-- examine and discuss the issues related to bridge building as a
critical factor in the leadership development of Women of Color and
others
-- explore the dynamics, logistics and impact of effective
bridge-building practices upon work performance and results
-- envision potential solutions to the challenges of bridge-building
for Women of Color and others as leaders
