1st Annual Northeast Student Diversity Leadership Conference
Call for Papers
 
 
 
The Sage Colleges Office of Cultural Enrichment and Diversity invites all interested undergraduate and graduate students to submit proposals for presentation at the 1st Annual Northeast Student Diversity Leadership Conference. Prizes will be awarded to the best presentations.  All presenters will receive a certificate of participation.
(1) Diversity leadership is about maximizing the inclusion of everyone in the organization. Diversity is about all of us, and diversity must include each of us;
(2) Diversity leadership seeks to increase the value-added opportunities and resources that result from knowing and understanding the similarities and differences on our campuses and workplaces; 
(3) Diversity leadership facilitates the creation of a positive working and learning environment for the effective and successful contributions of individuals and teams to the organization.

General Guidelines:
1. Electronic Submissions are preferable (please send either Word Documents or .pdf documents to lawsom1 at sage.edu.)
2. All notifications and announcements will be made via e-mail by March 9, 2007.
3. Presentations will be 15 minutes long with 5 minutes for questions.
4. DEADLINE FOR SUBMISSION - February 28, 2007
