*PRINTMAKING - JOB DESCRIPTION:*

The Center for Art and Design at The College of Saint Rose is seeking
candidates who demonstrate a commitment to traditional printmaking
processes, as teacher and professional artist. The applicant would teach
undergraduate and graduate printmaking courses (3 courses each semester),
help shape the printmaking curriculum, participate in undergraduate and
graduate reviews and critiques, advise students, and serve on academic
committees. Management of an active print studio is a major component of the
position. The Department is accredited by the National Association of
Schools of Art and Design to offer the BFA in Graphic Design, BFA in Studio
Art with concentrations in Printmaking, Drawing and Painting, Photography
and Sculpture, BS in Art Education,

BS in Studio Art and MS in Art Education, with over 250 majors.



*REQUIREMENTS:*

Candidates must have the MFA degree in printmaking, at least three years of
college teaching in printmaking, and current exhibition activity is
required. Experience in intaglio, relief printing, and screen printing is
required. Candidates should submit 20 images of their work in slide format

Applied Instrumental (Wind) and Core Curriculum

Full time tenure-track

Assistant professor, Music Department, School of Arts and Humanities

Effective August 2008



This position requires teaching applied instrumental lessons and courses in
the core music curriculum that are best suited to the candidate's abilities,
including Theory, Music History, and/or Ear Training, as well as coaching
small ensembles.

Qualifications include an earned doctorate, demonstrated successful college
level teaching experience in the applied area and core curriculum, and a
high level of artistic performance with an active profile in regional, state
