Position: Assistant or Associate Professor of Accounting 
Status: tenure-track

General Description: 
Notre Dame de Namur University's School of Business and Management seeks
a full-time accounting tenure-track faculty member to teach accounting
and other business courses for which the applicant qualifies.  The
faculty member will be expected to teach at the undergraduate and
graduate levels in both day and evening programs, market the School,
serve on University committees, advise students and carry out all of the
other full-time faculty duties described in the NDNU Faculty Handbook.
Faculty member is expected to engage cultural diversity.

Qualifications: 

Doctorate in Accounting or related field is required.  
Experience or demonstrated potential for teaching a range of courses in
accounting using a variety of learner-centered methods. 
Experience and preference for working with a diverse student population.

Knowledge of and ability to engage community-based learning. 
Experience in integrating technology into the classroom. 
Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues on committees. 
Ability to advise students in the area of accounting and related fields.
