What do you think of this article published in the Boston Globe?  This  
research of over 30,000 interviews by Harvard political scientist Robert Putnam  
concludes "the greater the diversity in a community, the  fewer people vote and 
the less they volunteer, the less they give to charity and  work on community 
projects. "  He draws other  conclusions as well.  Follow the link below for
