Director of Field Experiences and Student Teaching
The University of St. Thomas is accepting applications for a Director of
Field Experiences and Student Teaching.
The Director of Field Experiences and Student Teaching manages and directs
the undergraduate and graduate Teacher Education Department field
experiences program for approximately 400-500 students per year. As a
licensure program, placements must be made in accordance with Minnesota
Board of Education laws regulating field experiences of the program and the
National Council for the Accreditation of Teacher Education policies;
maintaining records, serve as central point for inquiries and requests;
provide problem resolution and assistance.

Qualifications include: Master's Degree and 2 years of licensed teaching
experience, one year of which was in a supervisory/managerial role or
equivalent combination of education and experience; strong computer skills
with a proficiency in MS Office; customer service focus; ability to organize
and deal with a variety of simultaneous activities; excellent organizational
and problem-solving skills; strong oral and written communication; detail
oriented and time-management skills; ability to work with diverse
populations and K-12 schools.
