Hello, all. Please see email below. If you or somebody you know is a
current P-12 public school CLASSROOM TEACHER with a well-thought-out
critique of Ruby Payne's work, please contact Randy Bomer ASAP at
rbomer at mail.utexas.edu.

You may get interviewed by NPR!

*******

Joel and I have been contacted by a radio show on NPR, and they need
a couple of classroom teachers critical of Ruby Payne. Know any?
Can you send me their names, city, grade level, and email?

The show interviewed a couple of teachers who found Payne's work
"helpful," and the ones who were going to critique it were told by
their principals that they'd better not. While the show says it is
going to tell that story, they also want to hear from some teachers
who think that Payne is wrong.

The host has interviewed Payne and also has interviewed Joel. It's a
new program, called "Tell Me More" with Michel Martin. We'll let you
know when the broadcast is available.

Please do what you can to help us find them some teachers.
