Coordinator of Service Learning Leadership
(12-month interim lecturer position; start date July 1, 2007)

The Coordinator of Service Learning Leadership is responsible for teaching
the courses that comprise the Service Learning Institute's minor in Service
Learning Leadership and directing CSUMB's Student Leadership in Service
Learning (sl)2 Program.  The Coordinator provides direction and vision for
this nationally acclaimed student leadership program that values compassion,
diversity, justice and social responsibility.  The (sl)2 Program provides
student leaders with the knowledge, skills and abilities to assist in
service learning course instruction, to build and facilitate service
learning community partnerships, and to become capable multicultural
community builders and social justice advocates.  

The position will be searched as a Tenure Track Assistant Professor of
Service Learning during the 2007-08 academic year.
