(NAME-MCE) Interviewing urban elementary prinicpals

I am a doctoral student at Western Michigan University and am doing my research on urban elementary principal's practices.  I am interested in interviewing urban elementary principals (by phone) to determine what methods,strategies, etc, they employ to assist with the academic standards of all students. Regardless of race or socio-economic status. My study has a multicultural focus. 

I feel that as the chief academic instructional leader of their school, principals set the example for their staff as well as fostering student learning outcomes for all students regardless of race, or socio-economic class. Therefore, I would like to interview some urban elementary principals whose school has high poverty (at least 50% free and reduced lunch)and obtains high academic ratings. 

My study will identify what these principals are doing to meet these goals and because of their efforts, will assist with their knowledge, new urban principals that may be coming into the urban field.
