On Saturday, May 5, 2007, from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. the CT Forest & Park
Association will host "Conversations on Education, Environment, and
Diversity" at its headquarters in Middlefield.  We are partnering with
the Connecticut Outdoor & Environmental Education Association (COEEA) in
this informal discussion.  Invited groups such as conservation
organizations, environmental justice groups, land trusts, formal
education associations, and others will discuss common areas of interest
(education and environment) and explore ways we can work together to
bridge our gaps in diversity.  We'll be exploring the definition of
diversity, its various meanings, and how becoming a more inclusive
organization can help accomplish conservation and education goals.
Please share this information with others you believe would be an asset
to this conversation.  Participation is very limited; please RSVP by
